In the May 2006 issue of Qualified Remodeler, Michael Mazer of Alternative Home Solutions and Tim Lassiter of Houston Remodeling pointed to ConstructionOffice as a key element of their respective business successes. The article, entitled "Summing Things Up", features industry professionals and the software applications they employ in their businesses.

Mazer, a builder and remodeler in Mount Prospect, Illinois has taken advantage of the complete ConstructionOffice system, including Estimating, Scheduling, and QuickBooks Integration but spoke most frequently about the importance of accurate estimating:

"We were using an in-house system by creating templates in Excel, but we would miss things. By upgrading to estimating software we were able to get to the point, whenever we would forget something we would add it into our program and say 'We won't forget this again.' A system like this forces you to do everything the same way like a check off list to make sure you have everything covered. To be competitive you have to know your current costs and keep your systems updated."

Similarly, Lassiter, a Master Carpenter and premier remodeler in Houston Texas, discussed the benefits of the Estimating component, specifically pointing to the way in which he integrates ConstructionOffice into customer meetings:

"The customer can see right away how a material change will affect the cost of the project because I go over the entire UDA estimate with them, including my profit margin. They know exactly where their money is going-which makes our customers confident that (we) will do the job for a reasonable price."

Articles like this one and others published in leading industry magazines such as the Journal of Light Construction and TecHome Builder point to the success of both ConstructionOffice and its over 20,000 new users worldwide.
