Longtime UDA Supporter and ConstructionSuite user, Michael Sauri, Owner and President of TriVista USA, is receiving national attention for his quality results in the remodeling industry. Sauri was recently selected to be featured on BobVila.com for their recent work on a home in Washington, D.C., and was also chosen to be the Green Building Technology and Strategies on-camera spokesperson for the online component of Remodeling Magazine, Remodeling TV.

BobVila.com selected Sauri's recent project, the remodeling of an external porch on a home in Northwest DC, to be featured as one of the few examples on his Sunrooms and Porches page of the website. BobVila.com is a place for do-it-yourselfers and homeowners to visit and learn more about construction.

An Excerpt from the Article:

This new screened-in porch, added 330 square feet of bug-free outdoor living space to the home of owners Kay and Tom Horst in Northwest DC. Remodeler Michael Sauri of TriVistaUSA creatively reused the framing of the existing deck and designed a larger, upper deck. Sauri also constructed a soaring butterfly roof and six oversized skylights which give the room an open feel. The angles of the new roof bring attention to the mid-century look of the home. The "cricket," a saddle-shaped projection in the middle of the roof, shoots rain water into up-sized gutters on the sides. The ceiling is constructed of pressure treated wood, while a custom-made wooden screen door adds a creative antique element to the space. The Horsts chose modern furniture with a rustic edge constructed of teak wood, and a glass wood-burning fireplace for year-round grilling. To view photos, click here.

Remodeling TV, the online component of Remodeling Magazine, recently selected Sauri to be an on-camera spokesperson about Green Building Technology and Strategies, so he can share his wealth of knowledge with other industry professionals. In his debut online episode, he explains how to use and apply a blended insulation strategy in parts of the building that perform the weakest, such as the ceiling and band joists. Sauri is happy to share his knowledge with other industry professionals. He explains, "What I hope comes from these opportunities with Remodeling TV and Bob Vila is that I'm going to help other business owners who are in similar situations by giving them insight into what's been working for us. Hopefully those who see my ideas will reach out to me, either by giving me constructive criticism or just telling me their different opinions. That alone will help TriVista USA and myself grow and improve because really, bouncing ideas off of each other is going to make us better and also the industry as a whole."

"UDA is excited to watch current clients succeed and earn notice for their work," said Michael Stevens, President of UDA Technologies. "Michael Sauri and his team at TriVista USA produce great results. We're proud to provide them with the software that helps them be successful."
