OnSite Mobile Apps

August 18, 2011

UDA Technologies is excited to introduce the most recent updates to the family of award-winning OnSite apps for iPhone, iPad, Android, and Blackberry. The latest generation of OnSite apps brings about significant new capabilities that allow users to browse files, share links, and view images even more easily.

OnSite mobile apps have been recognized as the industry's leading family of construction apps, winning awards such as the 2011 Top Mobile Product award by Constuctech magazine, "What's Hot" for Photography and Business apps for the iTunes App store, and Top 10 Photography Apps for Android.

Thousands of users are connecting their project teams and others by taking advantage of the many capabilities provided by the family of OnSite mobile apps. Specifically geared towards construction professionals, the apps are designed to join all aspects of construction project management and provide users with their organized information from the convenience of their mobile device.

OnSite Family of Mobile apps

  • OnSite Files for iPhone, iPad, and Android
  • OnSite Photo for iPhone, Android, and BlackBerry
  • OnSite Video for iPhone and Android
  • OnSite PlanRoom for iPhone, iPad and Android
  • Coming soon - OnSite Dialog for iPhone and iPad

New features to the family of OnSite apps include Offline Browsing, Storage Setting capabilities, improved File Uploads, enhanced Interface, and Launch Pad.

No longer are OnSite users bound by Internet connection. Especially out in the field or on the jobsite, Internet connection can be unpredictable, and relying on uncertain technology can lead to possible emergencies. Unprecedented security is provided with the new offline browsing feature. Users are free to access their information anytime and anywhere, even when their device is offline. By saving files, images, videos, and pictures directly to their device, users are liberated from dependence on uncertain Internet connection.

Along with the new browsing feature comes storage setting capabilities. Users can set storage space as well as view how much they have used at any time, so they never have to worry about the apps using more of their device's memory than they desire.

Newfound convenience and ease in communication are provided through OnSite's new uploading capabilities. Users are able to upload files directly from their email to ConstructionOnline, then view those files from their mobile device using the family of OnSite apps.

"As smart phones and mobile devices are rapidly developing, more people want all of their information on the go," says Michael Stevens, President of UDA Technologies. "With this in mind, we are constantly pushing to give OnSite Mobile App users more power and better capabilities."
